Today the whole Kalish family went to Montclair Elementary school for Kaz's kindergarten orientation. Kaz and Nikko actually got dressed up for the big day (button down and jeans)!!
When we got there, Kaz was escorted by a 5th grader to the Kindergarten room while the parents were escorted to the library for a presentation about the kindergarten program. We met the principal and the kindergarten teachers! They took us through a "day in the life of a kindergarten student" and got to ask questions about the school year. Meanwhile, all the kids that are going to be in kindergarten got to go on a bus ride around the school's neighborhood! When the bus got back to the school, all the parents were waiting for the kids! Kaz was so excited to be on the bus and to tell us all about it!!
Daren and I were quite emotional to see our little guy so independent and excited to see us after his bus ride!
