Only Mimi and Kiyomi showed up at Mom and Dad's house on New Year's day for Mochi soup! The rest of the family was recovering from Nork/Ty's party! :)
Then around noon the family started showing up to help Mom with the New Year's day feast!! We had sushi, sashimi, teriyaki chicken, kinpura gobo, rinko, shrimp, onigiri, beef rolls, and most important the good luck black beans for everyone to eat!! Yum!! What a great way to start off the year!!

After eating all day, we packed up the car and headed back to Portland!!
