A Sunny Easter in Portland!

It was finally sunny in Portland and just in time for Easter! We started the day with Easter baskets and eating chocolates at 8:30am!! Then we dyed eggs and then soaked up the sunshine!!

Kaz liked to do the shrink wrap for his eggs.

Nikko liked to put stickers on his eggs.

Then we headed over to the Alvarez house for an Easter egg hunt and a super yummy dinner! It was so nice to use the Alvarez backyard (aka: the park) to have a great Easter egg hunt! The kids were running from the front yard to the back yard trying to find all of the eggs and getting pretty competitive! Kaz actually dove in the bushes to get an egg from Maya!
Egg hunt is on!

Don't throw the egg Nikko

Where are the eggs??

Nikko found one!

Check out how many eggs Naomi found... I think the boys were jealous!

Maya's eggs

Naomi found so many eggs that she had 2 baskets!
Kara outdid herself with stuffed mushrooms, honey baked ham, scalloped potatoes, sweet potato casserole, asparagus, broccolli/cauliflower and of course Rice!! We were stuffed, but still had room for Nana's pistachio cake with fudge frosting!! I think we all gained 10 pounds!!
