A memorable 40th birthday and Mother's day weekend

The weekend of celebrations all started on Friday morning with my design department surprising me with flowers, bagels, cream cheese, juice, donuts, donuts and more donuts!! What a great way to start off my last day in my 30's!!

 After eating all of the sweets in the morning, my team took me to Pause for a great lunch!!

So great to get out of the office with my team and enjoy lunch in the sunshine!

After the full day of eating all day at work, I picked up Nikko and met up with Daren and Kaz at Mother's Bistro for an early birthday dinner!! We checked in and the hostess took us to our table...

Little did I know that Auntie Sharon, Mom and Dad were there to surprise me!! WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE FOR MY BIRTHDAY AND FOR MOTHER'S DAY!

What a surprise!!

To add to my surprise, I got to open my presents after dinner!! I got my first nice camera from the Oshima family and my first Louis Vuitton bag from Daren and the boys!! Wow did I luck out!! I guess that is what happens when you become a grown up!!

The next day (which was my actual 40th birthday), we started off the day with breakfast at the Daily Cafe in the Pearl district!!

The day only got nicer with 80+ degree weather for Kaz's baseball game! It was so hot Nikko had his shirt off at the end of the game!!

After the game, it was time to get ready for my 40th birthday party at the Boiler room at the Kennedy School!! Daren did a great job organizing and planning the party for me!! He got cupcakes and got there early to stake out tables within the downstairs area for the party!! Sue and George brought the balloons and we were ready to party!!

It was so great that everyone came out to help me celebrate my birthday!! I couldn't have asked for a better way to start my 40's!! 

The next day was Mother's day and we all got up and got ready to eat some more at Mama Mia's!!

After brunch and a little shopping, it was time for mom and I to get a mani/pedi!! It was the first pedicure and shellac manicure for Mom!! 

 After getting mani/pedi's it was time to go get Japanese food for dinner!!

After a weekend of eating and celebrating..it is only normal to start off the Monday with breakfast with Mom, Dad and Nikko before dropping Nikko off at school and going to work!!

After 4 days of so much fun with Mom and Dad, they headed back to California on Monday night!!
What an amazing and eventful weekend that I will never forget!! Now it is time to start my diet!!
